WILDFIRES STILL CAUSED A HAZY SKY AND KEPT TEMPERATURES SLIGHTLY
COOLER. HIGHS REACHED THE LOWER TO MID 80S...EXCEPT WERE IN THE
70S NEAR THE LAKEFRONT DUE TO A LAKE BREEZE. SUNDAY NIGHT WILL BE
MOSTLY CLEAR...WITH LOWS BY EARLY MONDAY IN THE MID TO UPPER 60S.

THE CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS WILL RETURN LATE IN THE DAY MONDAY IN
NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS AND MORE SO LATER MONDAY NIGHT INTO EARLY
TUESDAY AS A COLD FRONT APPROACHES THE AREA. A FEW STRONG TO
SEVERE STORMS ARE POSSIBLE...ALONG WITH LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL.
AHEAD OF THE COLD FRONT ON MONDAY AFTERNOON WILL BE WARM...BREEZY
AND HUMID CONDITIONS ACROSS THE REGION. A FEW COMMUNITIES ARE
FORECAST TO TOUCH 90 ON MONDAY. COOLER TEMPERATURES WILL RETURN ON
TUESDAY...WITH SOME PLACES NEAR LAKE MICHIGAN TO BE 20 DEGREES
COOLER OR MORE COMPARED TO MONDAY.
