...GALE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 2 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO
5 AM PDT THURSDAY...
* WHAT...North winds 20 to 30 kt with gusts to 35 kt and steep to
very steep and hazardous wind driven seas 7 to 10 ft through
this morning. Winds strengthen in the afternoons and evenings
this afternoon through Wednesday, reaching gale force 25 to 35
kt with gusts to 40 kt. Steep to very steep wind seas of 9 to 12
ft continue through midweek.
* WHERE...All areas will experience conditions hazardous to
small craft. Very steep seas and gale force winds are expected
south of Port Orford and beyond 3 to 5 nm from shore.
* WHEN...For the Hazardous Seas Warning, until 2 PM PDT Tuesday.
For the Small Craft Advisory, until 5 AM PDT Thursday. For the
Gale Warning, from 2 PM Tuesday to 5 AM PDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Strong winds and very steep seas could capsize or
damage vessels. Low visibility conditions are expected.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Mariners should alter plans to avoid strong winds and very steep
seas. Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and/or
