...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 615 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by heavy rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central and east central Oklahoma, including
  the following counties, in central Oklahoma, Pottawatomie. In east
  central Oklahoma, Pontotoc and Seminole.

* WHEN...Until 615 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is
  imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 301 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over
    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Ada, Konawa, Byng, Francis, Sasakwa and Vanoss.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
