* WHAT...Excessive runoff at Rio la Plata due to excessive rainfall
  activity this afternoon.

* WHERE...Sections near La Plata at Comerio.

* WHEN...Until 1130 PM AST.

* IMPACTS...Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from
  earlier rainfall.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 646 PM AST, gauge reports indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the warned area.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
