At 642 AM, National Weather Service radar detected scattered
showers and thunderstorms, some with heavy rain east of a Eufaula to
Hugo line and also in Arkansas east of I49. They were most
widespread and heaviest in Latimer and Leflore counties in Oklahoma.
Movement was to the east at around 15 mph. The average amount where
it rained last hour was around one quarter of an inch with maximum
amounts of three quarters to around an inch. Coverage and intensity
decreased during the last hour. The Tulsa area forecast for early
this morning, mostly cloudy, a slight chance of showers and
thunderstorms with temperatures 62 to 67 degrees and northeast winds
up to 10 mph.
