AREA...Far Northeast Oklahoma and Northwest Arkansas. ONSET...Ongoing. DISCUSSION... Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop this afternoon across far northeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas as moisture wraps around a departing upper low. No severe weather is expected. Patchy fog this morning should dissipate within a few hours after sunrise. However, patchy fog may develop again late tonight across far northeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT... Spotter Activation Not Expected. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday. WEDNESDAY...Thunderstorm Potential...Heavy Rain Potential. THURSDAY AND FRIDAY...Thunderstorm Potential. SATURDAY...No Hazards. SUNDAY...Thunderstorm Potential. MONDAY...High Wind Potential. EXTENDED DISCUSSION... A lull in precipitation is forecast Tuesday night. There is a low chance of thunderstorms Wednesday morning and early afternoon across northeast Oklahoma. More widespread showers and storms are forecast across eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas Wednesday night through Friday. Storms will be capable of producing locally heavy rainfall which may lead to areas of flash flooding or rises on rivers and streams. The heaviest rainfall is expected to occur across northeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas.
