FEBRUARY 2017 AT FARGO WAS THE 7TH WARMEST ON RECORD DATING BACK TO
1881. THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE WAS 24.2 DEGREES WHICH IS 9.6 DEGREES
ABOVE THE NORMAL 14.6F. THE 24.2F SURPASSED THE 24.0F OF FEB 1935
FOR THE SEVENTH SPOT. MOST OF THE WARMTH OCCURRED DURING AN
UNPRECEDENTED WARM PERIOD WHICH CAUSED DAILY RECORD HIGHS AT FARGO
ON THE 17TH, 19TH AND 20TH WITH 53F, 56F AND 54F DEGREES.

WITH RESPECT TO PRECIPITATION FEB 2017 WAS ABOVE NORMAL WITH 0.79
INCHES MEASURED. THIS WAS 0.18 INCHES ABOVE THE NORMAL OF 0.61
INCHES. AS FOR SNOWFALL, THE 4.2 INCHES MEASURED WAS 2.8 INCHES
BELOW THE NORMAL 7.0 INCHES.
