...A Flood warning continues for the Mississippi River at
Wabasha...La Crosse...McGregor and Guttenberg Dam 10.

.Excessive rain continues to work its way south along the
Mississippi River.  The Mississippi River will fall below flood
stage this morning.  Meanwhile flooding will continue at Wabasha,
McGregor, and Guttenberg Dam 10.

River forecasts take into account both observed and forecast
precipitation.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive cars into flooded areas. Remember, it only takes two
feet of water to float most automobiles, including sport utility
vehicles. Turn Around, Don`t Drown!

  The Mississippi River At Wabasha.
* until Monday afternoon...Or until the warning is cancelled.
* At  4:15 AM Saturday the stage was 12.2 feet.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall...Dropping below flood
  stage by Sunday evening.
* Impact...At 12.0 feet...The river affects low lying areas.

* until late tonight...Or until the warning is cancelled.
* At  4:15 AM Saturday the stage was 12.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall...Dropping below flood
  stage by this morning.
* Impact...At 12.0 feet...Pettibone Campground and RV Park is flooded.
  Road access to the north end of the Shore Acres development is
  impacted by flooding. Some lowland flooding occurs in other areas
  near the river.

* until Saturday June 03...Or until the warning is cancelled.
* At  4:15 AM Saturday the stage was 17.7 feet.
* Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 18.1 feet by
  Sunday morning. The river will fall below flood stage Friday.
* Impact...At 18.0 feet...Pumping operations begin at the Prairie du
  Chien waste water treatment facility.

* until Thursday morning...Or until the warning is cancelled.
* At  4:00 AM Saturday the stage was 15.9 feet.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 16.0 feet by this
  morning. The river will fall below flood stage Wednesday.
* Impact...At 15.5 feet...The water is over Marina Road.
