The Flood Warning continues for
  the Neuse River Near Clayton.
* At  3:15 PM Tuesday the stage was 17.3 feet.
* Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
* Major flooding is occurring and Major flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 19.6 feet by
  after midnight tomorrow. The river will fall below flood stage
  Thursday early afternoon.
* Impact...At 18.0 feet, Castleberry Road off NC42 is flooded and
  water floods the parking lot of East Clayton Elementary School.
  Flooding reaches the lower concrete span of the bridge on Covered
  Bridge Road.
* Impact...At 16.0 feet, Major flood begins.

* At  3:15 PM Tuesday the stage was 19.3 feet.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and Major flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 24.4 feet by
  tomorrow early afternoon. The river will fall below flood stage
  Friday morning.
* Impact...At 23.0 feet, Hospital and Buffalo Roads are flooded.
* Impact...At 20.0 feet, Major Flood Stage. Flooding cuts off the
  water treatment plants access to the reservoir.

  the Neuse River Near Goldsboro.
* from late tonight until further notice, or until the warning is
  cancelled.
* At  3:15 PM Tuesday the stage was 13.7 feet.
* Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage by early tomorrow
  and continue to rise to near 23.1 feet by Sunday early afternoon.
  Additional rises are possible thereafter.
* Impact...At 23.0 feet, Strobe lights at the end of the runway at
  Seymour Johnson Air Force base are flooded.
* Impact...At 22.5 feet, Evacuation of some homes in the Mar-Mac area
  and possibly the Buckhorn Island subdivision may be necessary.
* Impact...At 22.0 feet, Flooding begins on Seymour Johnson Air Force
  Base.
* Impact...At 21.0 feet, Riverview Trailer Park homes and Stevens Mill
  Road begin to flood.
* Impact...At 20.0 feet, Arrington Bridge Road and access roads around
  Seymour Johnson Air Force Base flood.

* Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage by this evening
  and continue to rise to near 23.1 feet by tomorrow early
  afternoon.The river will fall below flood stage by Thursday early
  afternoon.
* Impact...At 25.0 feet, Significant flooding at businesses along
  Johnson, Court, Elm, and Short Streets.
* Impact...At 23.0 feet, Major flood stage. Homes and businesses along
  Johnson Street flood.
* Impact...At 22.0 feet, Moderate flood stage. Flooding begins in
  Pruitt and Shannon Villages on the east side of town.

  is cancelled.
* At  3:15 PM Tuesday the stage was 11.1 feet.
* Flood stage is 19.0 feet.
* Major flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage by tomorrow early
  afternoon and continue to rise to near 32.3 feet by Friday morning.
* Impact...At 33.6 feet, This is the elevation of the railroad bed
  which cuts through the Princeville levee. The emergency gate must
  be manually installed to prevent water from flowing into the town
  of Princeville.
* Impact...At 32.0 feet, Major flood stage. Baker and St James Street
  begin to flood.
* Impact...At 26.6 feet, This is the stage reached during hurricane
  Fran on September 15, 1996.
* Impact...At 24.0 feet, Moderate flooding begins in Tarboro. River
  Road is underwater and flooding begins on east Wilson and St David
  Streets.
* Impact...At 20.0 feet, Lowland flooding begins south of Daniel
  Street in east Tarboro.
* Impact...At 19.0 feet, Minor flooding begins. The Riverside Park and
  River Road at the US64 bridge flood.
* Impact...At 17.0 feet, Action stage. The river is bankfull.

  base of the water treatment plant building.
* Impact...At 20.0 feet, There is significant overflow on the right
  bank opposite the water treatment plant.

  the Haw River Near Bynum.
* At  3:30 PM Tuesday the stage was 16.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 16.3 feet by this
  evening. The river will fall below flood stage tomorrow evening.
* Impact...At 17.0 feet, Major flood stage. Several homes along the
  right bank of the river are flooded.
* Impact...At 15.0 feet, The river widens up to 800 feet across, but
  flooding remains confined to extensive stretches of woods and
  pastureland along the river.

  the Deep River At Moncure.
* At  2:45 PM Tuesday the stage was 8.7 feet.
* Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise to near flood stage this
  evening.
* Impact...At 9.0 feet, Minor flood stage. Flooding is likely upstream
  of the gage site along North Plank Road just south of highway 421
  in Lee county, and on R Jordan Road north of highway 421 in Chatham
  county. At the gage site, flooding reaches the base of the river
  gage housing, but is confined to woods and pasture immediately
  adjacent to the river.

* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage by tomorrow early
  afternoon and continue to rise to near 35.4 feet by tomorrow
  evening.The river will fall below flood stage by tomorrow late
  evening.
* Impact...At 35.0 feet, Flood stage. The boat ramp and lower parking
  lot at Riverside Bait and Tackle off Person Street are flooded. The
  stage and lower seating area at the Cape Fear amphitheater are
  flooded.
