Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southern New England
National Weather Service Taunton MA
413 AM EDT Tue Sep 26 2017

.DISCUSSION...
High pressure will provide more dry weather and much above normal
temperatures again for today. Minimum relative humidities will
range between 50 and 60 percent today across the interior and 60
to 80 percent along coastal areas.

OUTLOOK...Wednesday through Sunday...

A cold front dropping south from Canada could bring scattered
showers for late Wednesday afternoon and night and then usher in
cooler temperatures for the end of the week. Showers will be most
likely across the Cape and Islands during Thursday morning. Hurricane
Maria is expected to recurve out to sea well southeast of New
England late in the week. Much cooler temperatures and much lower
humidity are expected for Friday into the weekend.
