NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE COLUMBIA SC
249 PM EDT THU APR 24 2014

.DISCUSSION...WITH MOISTURE STILL NOT RECHARGED ACROSS THE AREA
FOLLOWING THE PREVIOUS WEATHER EVENT...AN APPROACHING COLD FRONT MAY
TRIGGER SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS FROM LATE FRIDAY
MORNING THROUGH THE AFTERNOON.

WITH INITIAILLY CLEAR SKIES AND LIGHT SE BREEZE THIS EVENING...
THE INVERSION WILL FORM AROUND SUNSET/8 PM. DISPERSION WILL BE POOR
OVERALL THROUGH THE NIGHT. HOWEVER...SOME DEVELOPING CLOUDINESS LATE
WILL HELP PREVENT ANY WIDESPREAD OR DENSE FOG INTO FRIDAY MORNING.

SOUTHWESTERLY WINDS WILL INCREASE BY LATE MORNING--BOTH SURFACE AND
AVERAGE TRANSPORT--WITH A TIGHTER PRESSURE GRADIENT THROUGH THE
AFTERNOON. AFTERNOON RELATIVE HUMIDITIES WILL STAY ABOVE 40 PERCENT
WITH ENOUGH LOW-LEVEL MOISTURE IN THE SOUTHERLY FLOW.
