Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
256 AM EST Tue Nov 21 2017

.DISCUSSION...
An approaching upper disturbance will result in weak low
pressure developing along the coast. Onshore flow will
allow moisture to increase over the area today with low
chances for rain developing this afternoon through tonight.
Widespread clouds and light easterly surface winds will
keep mixing heights low today. Min RH values will remain
above 50 percent today. Inversion sets up by 7pm with poor
dispersion tonight.

A weak cold front will cross the region tonight and
clearing skies expected on Wednesday with much higher
mixing heights. Winds will be slightly stronger from
the north on Wednesday and min RH values will be
40-50 percent.
