FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR NE KANSAS/NW MISSOURI
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE KANSAS CITY/PLEASANT HILL MO
343 PM CDT SAT MAR 28 2015

.DISCUSSION...

BREEZY...VARIABLE WINDS WILL PREVAIL SUNDAY AHEAD OF AND BEHIND A WEAK
COLD FRONT THAT WILL MOVE THROUGH DURING THE DAY. SURFACE WINDS WILL
BE COMING AROUND TO THE SOUTH AND SOUTHWEST EARLY SUNDAY
MORNING...VEERING AROUND TO THE NORTHWEST BEHIND THE FRONT AS IT
PASSES THROUGH. SHOWERS WILL BE POSSIBLE DURING THE MORNING HOURS OF
SUNDAY...BUT EXPECT HUMIDITY VALUES TO DROP SIGNIFICANTLY THAT
AFTERNOON BEHIND THE FRONT. AS A RESULT OF THE CHANGING AND VARIABLE
CONDITIONS...EXPECT A HEIGHTENED FIRE DANGER FOR THE AFTERNOON HOURS
OF SUNDAY. MONDAY WINDS WILL RETURN TO THE SOUTHWEST WITH SPEEDS
GENERALLY UNDER 12 MPH...BRINGING WARMER TEMPERATURES BACK TO THE
REGION WHICH WILL RESULT IN LOW HUMIDITY VALUES. EXPECT HUMIDITY
LEVELS TO REBOUND A BIT TUESDAY AS GULF MOISTURE RETURNS AHEAD OF OUR
NEXT FRONTAL PASSAGE DURING THE MIDDLE OF THE WORK WEEK.
