Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR Southeast Texas

.DISCUSSION...
Showers and thunderstorms will move across Southeast Texas today. A
Flash Flood Watch is in effect for a large portion of the area
through this morning. Soaking rainfall of 1 to 3 inches will be
common with some isolated swaths receiving 4 to 6 inches. A weak
Pacific cold front will move through the area tonight but only
light winds in the wake of the system are expected. Warm and dry
weather with onshore winds are expected Wednesday through Friday.
Another weak drier cold front is expected to move through the area
Friday with a day of light northerly winds Saturday.
