Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Southeast Texas
National Weather Service Houston/Galveston TX
305 PM CST Tue Dec 12 2017

.DISCUSSION...
Elevated fire weather conditions will remain in place through the
remainder of the afternoon for locations near the coast. Strong
and occasionally gusty north winds will persist until this evening
as humidities range between 25-30%. Light west and southwest winds
should develop Wednesday as high pressure moves east of the region,
but a reinforcing cold front on Thursday will bring a return of
north winds the rest of the week. Warmer and more humid weather is
forecast to return over the weekend along with increased rain chances.
