FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR NORTHERN ALABAMA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HUNTSVILLE AL
434 AM CDT FRI MAY 27 2016

.DISCUSSION...
WARM AND DRY WEATHER IS FORECAST AGAIN TODAY BUT THE PERSISTENT
HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE REGION BEGINS TO SHIFT EASTWARD. EXPECT
A SLIGHT INCREASE IN MOISTURE THROUGH THE WEEKEND AS WINDS SHIFT
TO THE S/SW. ISOLATED AFTERNOON SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE
POSSIBLE TODAY. STORMS BECOME MORE SCATTERED TONIGHT AND SATURDAY
AS A DISTURBANCE PASSES OVER THE REGION.

HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS BACK INTO THE MIDWEST ON SUNDAY SHIFTING
WINDS TO THE NORTH. DRIER AIR WILL ACCOMPANY THE NORTHERLY WINDS
AND RH VALUES FOR EARLY NEXT WEEK MAY BE AS LOW AS 30 PERCENT WITH
TEMPS INCREASING INTO THE LOWER 90S. ISOLATED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
REMAIN POSSIBLE EACH AFTERNOON EARLY NEXT WEEK.
