FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR EAST KENTUCKY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE JACKSON KY
610 AM EDT MON JUL 27 2015

.DISCUSSION...A WEAK SURFACE BOUNDARY CURRENTLY ACROSS NORTHERN KY
WILL SINK SOUTHWARD THIS AFTERNOON AND REMAIN ACROSS CENTRAL
KENTUCKY THROUGH THE DAY TOMORROW. AS A RESULT...EXPECT ISOLATED
TO SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS TO DEVELOP ACROSS KY IN
RESPONSE TO THE ADDED INSTABILITY IN THE ATMOSPHERE DUE TO THIS
BOUNDARY. BEST COVERAGE OF STORMS WILL BE IN THE AFTERNOON DURING
PEAK HEATING. THIS BOUNDARY WILL KEEP HUMIDITIES HIGH DURING THIS
TIME PERIOD AS WELL...WITH ALMOST ALL OF EASTERN KY EXPECTED TO
HAVE MINIMUM HUMIDITIES OVER 50 PERCENT THE NEXT TWO DAYS. BECAUSE
THIS BOUNDARY IS SO WEAK...WINDS WILL NOT REALLY BE IMPACTED.
EXPECT WINDS TO REMAIN LIGHT...GENERALLY 5MPH OR LESS...AND
VARIABLE THROUGH THE NEXT 48 HOURS.
