Fire Weather Planning Forecast For West Texas/Southeast New Mexico
National Weather Service Midland/Odessa TX
325 AM CDT Thu Jul 20 2017

.DISCUSSION...
Scattered storms will continue each afternoon through the weekend across
the mountains with a few storms possible in the adjacent lower elevations.
Gusty and erratic winds, heavy rainfall and lightning will be the main
concern from thunderstorms. Otherwise minimum RHs will struggle to fall
below 25 pct, even farther east in the Permian Basin. Temperatures will
trend up across the Permian Basin through the weekend while the rain across
the west keeps temperatures in check.
