Fire Weather Forecast FOR southern Oregon and northern California
National Weather Service Medford, OR
510 AM PST Tue Feb 21 2017

.DISCUSSION...The active pattern will continue through the week.
Gusty winds and showers are expected today with the strongest winds
over the ridges, in the Shasta Valley and the east side. Moderate
to heavy rain overnight and showers today may combine to bring some
area flooding, mainly for locations near the coast and into Josephine
and western Siskiyou counties. Mudslides and landslides are possible
as well, especially near burn scars. A cool showery pattern will set
up Wednesday and Thursday with low snow levels. Another disturbance
may bring showers on Friday. Then a stronger and wetter storm is
due Sunday into next Monday.
