Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Middle Tennessee

.DISCUSSION...An area of high pressure will slide across the area
tonight, and be east of the Mid-State by Sunday afternoon. Gusty
northwest winds will diminish tonight and become southerly by Sunday
afternoon. South winds are forecast to become gusty Monday and
Tuesday,as a storm system develops over the central Plains. The
chance for rain will also increase the first part of the week, as
temperatures warm back toward the 70 degree mark by Tuesday
afternoon. A strong cold front then sweeps in Wednesday bringing
along the likelihood for thunderstorms, ending from the west
Wednesday night. A dry air mass spreads in for the last part of the
week, along with gusty northwest winds.
