FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR MISSOURI
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SPRINGFIELD MO
213 PM CST SAT FEB 13 2016

.DISCUSSION...

AFTERNOON HUMIDITIES WILL DROP INTO THE TEENS TO LOWER 20 PERCENT
RANGE ACROSS MOST OF THE AREA THIS AFTERNOON. WINDS WILL NOT BE
OVERLY STRONG AS SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE WILL BE SPREADING ACROSS
THE AREA. HOWEVER...EAST TO SOUTHEASTERLY WINDS AROUND 10 MPH WILL
DEVELOP ACROSS SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS AND THE WESTERN OZARKS THIS
AFTERNOON. THIS WILL RESULT IN ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS.

A LIGHT WINTRY MIX OF PRECIPITATION WILL THEN OCCUR LATE TONIGHT
INTO EARLY SUNDAY WITH WARMER CONDITIONS RETURNING BY MID TO LATE
NEXT WEEK.
