FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TULSA OK
415 AM CST WED NOV 26 2014

RED FLAG...NONE.

.DISCUSSION...

A FRONT WILL SWEEP SOUTHEAST ACROSS THE REGION DURING THE DAY.
EXPECT A VEERING WIND FROM SOUTH TO SOUTHWEST TO NORTHWEST BEHIND
THE BOUNDARY. WINDS WILL GUST TO NEAR 30 MPH ACROSS NORTHEAST
OKLAHOMA THIS AFTERNOON AND WILL COMBINE WITH THE DRY AIR IN PLACE
TO YIELD AN ELEVATED FIRE DANGER. AFTER A BRIEF BREAK ON
THANKSGIVING WITH LIGHTER WINDS AND COOLER TEMPERATURES...THE FIRE
DANGER WILL RAMP RIGHT BACK OFF FRIDAY AND SATURDAY AS WARM AND
DRY CONDITIONS COMBINE WITH STRONG SOUTHWEST WINDS. SUNDAY COULD
SEE HIGH FIRE DANGER AS WELL AHEAD OF A SHALLOW COLD FRONT.
