FORTUNA DISPATCH-
DISCUSSION FOR FORTUNA DISPATCH
551 AM PDT SUN JUN 25 2017

A SLIGHT COOL DOWN IN INTERIOR TEMPERATURES IS EXPECTED INTO
EARLY IN THE COMING WEEK. ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE
EXPECTED TODAY OVER PORTIONS OF TRINITY, NORTHEASTERN HUMBOLDT,
AND EASTERN DEL NORTE COUNTIES WITH THE BEST CHANCES OVER NORTHERN
TRINITY COUNTY. A FEW OF THESE STORMS MAY BE DRY, BUT FUEL
MOISTURE LEVELS REMAIN MARGINAL TO UNFAVORABLE FOR RAPID FIRE
GROWTH IN THESE AREAS. THE REMAINDER OF THE COMING WEEK IS
EXPECTED TO BE MOSTLY DRY, WITH HOTTER INTERIOR TEMPERATURES
RETURNING BY MID-WEEK.
