...DISCUSSION FROM RNOFWFVEF...

SLIGHTLY WARMER TEMPERATURES EXPECTED TODAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY WHILE
NORTH BREEZES CONTINUES WITHIN THE COLORADO RIVER VALLEY. A COLD
FRONT IS EXPECTED TO BRING A CHANCE OF RAIN AND SNOW SHOWERS TO THE
SOUTHERN SIERRA AND CENTRAL NEVADA WEDNESDAY. THE CHANCE OF RAIN
AND SNOW SHOWERS LOOKS TO STAY NORTH AND EAST OF LAS VEGAS
WEDNESDAY NIGHT AND THURSDAY. COLDER TEMPERATURES BEHIND THE COLD
FRONT THURSDAY LOOK TO EXTENDED THROUGH THE HOLIDAY WEEKEND.

...DISCUSSION FROM LAXFWFSGX...

OFFSHORE FLOW WILL CONTINUE TO WEAKEN TODAY WITH LOCALLY GUSTY
NORTHEAST WINDS NEAR THE COASTAL FOOTHILLS THIS MORNING. ONSHORE
FLOW WILL RETURN ON TUESDAY AND STRENGTHEN ON WEDNESDAY AS A LOW
PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVES THROUGH THE GREAT BASIN. THIS WILL BRING MUCH
STRONGER ONSHORE FLOW FOR WEDNESDAY INTO WEDNESDAY EVENING WITH
COOLING AND WITH STRONG GUSTY WEST TO NORTHWEST WINDS IN THE
MOUNTAINS AND DESERTS. A WEAKENING COLD FRONT WILL MOVE THROUGH FAR
SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA LATE WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON INTO WEDNESDAY EVENING
WITH SMALL CHANCES FOR VERY LIGHT PRECIPITATION ALONG AND WEST OF
THE MOUNTAINS. A PERIOD OF MODERATE OFFSHORE WILL FOLLOW FOR
THURSDAY. IT COULD BRING A PERIOD OF NEAR CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER
CONDITIONS ON THURSDAY...MAINLY BELOW THE CAJON PASS AND FOR INLAND
ORANGE COUNTY. OFFSHORE FLOW WILL WEAKEN FOR THURSDAY NIGHT AND
FRIDAY.

...DISCUSSION FROM PHXFWFPSR...

CLOUDS THIS MORNING OVER GILA COUNTY WILL CONTINUE TO GRADUALLY
CLEAR AS A WEATHER SYSTEM CONTINUES TO PUSH OFF TO OUR EAST. WHILE
PRECIPITATION IS NOT LIKELY, A LIGHT SHOWER IS POSSIBLE EARLY THIS
MORNING ACROSS EASTERN PORTIONS OF GILA COUNTY. WINDS WILL BE
RELATIVELY LIGHT ACROSS THE FORECAST AREA TODAY AND TUESDAY AS A
TRANSIENT RIDGE BUILDS OVER OUR AREA. TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN NEAR
SEASONAL NORMAL WHILE DRY CONDITIONS CONTINUE ACROSS SE CALIFORNIA.
HIGHER DEW POINTS AND HUMIDITIES WILL REMAIN ACROSS SOUTH-CENTRAL
AZ AS MOISTURE IS SLOW TO EXIT THE AREA.
