This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska...
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect across the region
through mid-day today as a progressive storm system produces a
wintry mix of precipitation. Light freezing precipitation is
expected across the southern sections of the region while areas of
brief moderate to heavy snowfall are expected across the north. Up
to 4 inches of snow may be observed along the Kansas and Nebraska
border area. Gusty winds may also produce areas of blowing and
drifting snow this afternoon even through the snowfall is expected
to rapidly diminish around mid-day.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...

Warmer temperatures with dry conditions and gusty winds will produce
elevated to near critical fire weather Monday afternoon from east
central Colorado through west central Kansas.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed, but reports of ice and snow
accumulations would be much appreciated.
