This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of southwest Lower
Michigan.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and Tonight

Scattered thunderstorms are expected beginning late this afternoon
and especially tonight. A few storms late this afternoon and tonight
south of Interstate 96 may become severe and contain locally heavy
rainfall.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

The threat of severe weather and locally heavy rainfall will
linger Friday, particularly south of a Muskegon to Alma line.

Thunderstorms are possible Saturday inland from Lake Michigan but
severe weather is not expected.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed from late this afternoon through
tonight and Friday, mainly south of a Muskegon to Alma line.

Waves of 3 to 5 feet will be hazardous to boaters and beach goers
today. Winds and waves will gradually subside this afternoon.

Scattered thunderstorms are expected later this afternoon and
especially tonight. A few storms late this afternoon and tonight
south of Muskegon may  become severe.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

The threat of severe weather will linger Friday, particularly
south of Muskegon.
