This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and
north central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

Elevated to critical fire danger this afternoon across all of
western and north central Nebraska. Low humidity will combine with
gusty west winds. The strongest winds will occur across northern
into northwest Nebraska.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY.

A winter storm system will affect the region Late Wednesday night,
continuing on Thursday into Friday morning. This will bring rain
changing to accumulating snow. Gusty north winds may cause
blowing and drifting snow. Refer to the latest statements and
updates regarding this winter system.
