This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of East Arkansas...
the Missouri Bootheel...North Mississippi...and West Tennessee.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Severe thunderstorms are expected to develop roughly along the
Mississippi River between 1-2 PM CDT. The storms will intensify
as they push further east into West Tennessee and Northeast
Mississippi during the late afternoon hours. Damaging winds,
large hail, and isolated tornadoes will be possible for areas east
of the Mississippi River. The threat for severe weather will end
by 8-10 PM CDT as the storms push east of the Mid-South.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

The probability of widespread hazardous weather is low.


.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will likely be needed across areas east of the
Mississippi River this afternoon into the evening hours.
