THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTH CENTRAL
ALABAMA...SOUTHWEST ALABAMA...NORTHWEST FLORIDA AND SOUTHEAST
MISSISSIPPI.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

WIDESPREAD DENSE FOG THAT HAS BEEN LINGERING OVER THE COASTAL WATERS
HAS BEGUN SPREADING INLAND...ESPECIALLY OVER THE WESTERN FLORIDA
PANHANDLE. THE DENSE FOG IS EXPECTED TO BE MOST LIKELY NEAR THE
COAST AND JUST INLAND OVERNIGHT WITH VISIBILITIES OF ONE QUARTER OF
A MILE OR LESS ROUGHLY FROM AROUND THE I-10 CORRIDOR SOUTH. WHILE
FOG IS ALSO EXPECTED FURTHER INLAND TONIGHT...IT IS NOT EXPECTED TO
BE AS DENSE AS CLOSER TO THE COAST. A DENSE FOG ADVISORY IS IN
EFFECT TONIGHT THROUGH 9 AM WEDNESDAY FOR PORTIONS OF THE FORECAST
AREA NEAR THE COAST...AND MAY NEED TO BE ADJUSTED INLAND OVERNIGHT.
WE WILL MONITOR FOR THIS POTENTIAL. THE LOW VISIBILITIES DUE TO
THE FOG SHOULD BEGIN TO IMPROVE BY MID MORNING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

DENSE FOG WILL PERSIST THROUGH THE MID MORNING HOURS ON
WEDNESDAY...ESPECIALLY NEAR THE COAST.

A STRONG COLD FRONT APPROACHING FROM THE WEST WEDNESDAY MOVES
THROUGH THE AREA WEDNESDAY NIGHT. AHEAD OF THE FRONT...A
WARM...MOIST AND MARGINALLY UNSTABLE ENVIRONMENT FAVORS THE
DEVELOPMENT OF THUNDERSTORMS. THE RISK OF SEVERE WEATHER IS LOW.

MUCH COLDER AIR FLOWS INTO THE REGION IN THE WAKE OF THE FRONT LATE
WEDNESDAY NIGHT AND EARLY THURSDAY. LIGHT PRECIPITATION WILL LIKELY
BE CONTINUING AS THE COLD AIR FILTERS IN AND ATMOSPHERIC CONDITIONS
WILL SUPPORT RAIN CHANGING OVER TO A WINTRY MIX OF RAIN...SLEET AND
FREEZING RAIN LATE WEDNESDAY NIGHT INTO EARLY THURSDAY MORNING...
MAINLY ACROSS NORTHERN CHOCTAW COUNTY. A LIGHT ACCUMULATION OF
SLEET OR GLAZE IS POSSIBLE. STAY TUNED FOR LATER UPDATES.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION WILL NOT BE NEEDED.
