...ARCTIC FRONT WILL BRING GALES TO THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL
WATERS THURSDAY...

.AN ARCTIC COLD FRONT WILL MOVE INTO THE COASTAL WATERS EARLY
THURSDAY MORNING. NORTHERLY GALES WILL DEVELOP IN THE WAKE OF THE
FRONT WITH FREQUENT WIND GUSTS AROUND 40 KNOTS... ALONG WITH VERY
ROUGH SEAS. THE GALES WILL PERSIST THROUGH THURSDAY EVENING FOR
OPEN WATERS...BUT SHOULD SUBSIDE IN THE BAYS LATE IN THE
AFTERNOON. VERY ROUGH SEAS WILL BE SLOW TO SUBSIDE OFFSHORE.

  FEET OFFSHORE. OCCASIONAL SEAS 11 TO 15 FEET.

A GALE WARNING MEANS WINDS OF 34 TO 47 KNOTS ARE IMMINENT OR
OCCURRING. OPERATING A VESSEL IN GALE CONDITIONS REQUIRES
EXPERIENCE AND PROPERLY EQUIPPED VESSELS. IT IS HIGHLY
RECOMMENDED THAT MARINERS WITHOUT THE PROPER EXPERIENCE SEEK SAFE
HARBOR PRIOR TO THE ONSET OF GALE CONDITIONS.
