.NORTH WINDS AND SEAS WILL BUILD TODAY AS HIGH PRESSURE STRENGTHENS
OFFSHORE AND LOW PRESSURE CONTINUES INLAND. WINDS AND SEAS WILL
PEAK THURSDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING WITH AN AREA OF WARNING LEVEL
CONDITIONS SOUTH OF CAPE BLANCO. THIS PRESSURE PATTERN WILL
CONTINUE THROUGH THE WEEKEND...BUT FORECAST CONFIDENCE IS ONLY LOW
TO MODERATE THAT ADVISORY LEVEL CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE SOUTH OF
CAPE BLANCO. THUS, CURRENT ADVISORIES ARE VALID THROUGH FRIDAY

* WINDS...INCREASING TO NORTH 20 TO 25 KNOTS THIS EVENING...THEN
  15 TO 25 KNOTS TONIGHT. WINDS WILL INCREASE THURSDAY AFTERNOON
  AND EVENING TO 20 TO 30 KNOTS WITH GUSTS 30 TO 40 KNOTS THURSDAY
  AFTERNOON AND EVENING.

* SEAS...NORTH BECOMING A STEEP 7 TO 9 FEET THIS EVENING. SEAS
  WILL BUILD FURTHER THURSDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING TO A STEEP TO
  VERY STEEP 8 TO 12 FEET.

* AREAS AFFECTED AND TIMING...THE STRONGEST WINDS AND STEEPEST
  SEAS ARE EXPECTED SOUTH OF GOLD BEACH AND BEYOND 5 AND 25 NM
  FROM SHORE DURING THE AFTERNOONS AND EVENINGS.

POTENTIAL HAZARD TO SMALLER VESSELS AND INEXPERIENCED MARINERS.

A HAZARDOUS SEAS WARNING MEANS VERY STEEP AND HAZARDOUS SEA
CONDITIONS ARE IMMINENT OR OCCURRING. RECREATIONAL BOATERS SHOULD
REMAIN IN PORT...OR TAKE SHELTER UNTIL WAVES SUBSIDE.  COMMERCIAL
VESSELS SHOULD PREPARE FOR ROUGH SEAS AND CONSIDER REMAINING IN
PORT OR TAKING SHELTER IN PORT UNTIL HAZARDOUS SEAS SUBSIDE.

A GALE WATCH IS ISSUED WHEN THE RISK OF GALE FORCE WINDS OF 34 TO
47 KNOTS HAS SIGNIFICANTLY INCREASED...BUT THE SPECIFIC TIMING
AND/OR LOCATION IS STILL UNCERTAIN. IT IS INTENDED TO PROVIDE
ADDITIONAL LEAD TIME FOR MARINERS WHO MAY WISH TO CONSIDER
