.NOW...
WIDESPREAD SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE TO SLOWLY TRACK NORTH NORTHEASTWARD
FROM THE SOUTH CENTRAL AND SOUTHWEST MOUNTAINS TO PORTIONS OF CENTRAL
NEW MEXICO THIS MORNING. AREAS NEAR AND NORTH OF THE I-40 CORRIDOR
COULD SEE A TENTH OF AN INCH TO ONE QUARTER OF AN INCH OF RAIN
PER HOUR WHILE AREAS SOUTH OF THE I-40 CORRIDOR COULD SEE ONE QUARTER
TO POSSIBLY AN INCH PER HOUR...WITH POTENTIAL FLASH FLOODING FAVORING
THE SOUTH CENTRAL AND SOUTHWEST MOUNTAINS. FLOWING WATER SHOULD
DEVELOP IN NORMALLY DRY ARROYOS AND ACROSS LOW WATER CROSSINGS.
MOTORISTS SHOULD EXPECT PONDING OF WATER ON ROADS AND HIGHWAYS ALONG
WITH REDUCED VISIBILITY AT TIMES DUE TO RAIN AND FOG ACROSS SOUTHERN
AND CENTRAL AREAS. A FEW EMBEDDED LIGHTNING STRIKES WILL ALSO BE
POSSIBLE.
