WIND WARNING...FROM 6 AM TO 6 PM EST THURSDAY.

* LOCATIONS...THE SAINT LAWRENCE VALLEY AND WESTERN CLINTON
  COUNTY IN NEW YORK.

* HAZARDS...STRONG AND POTENTIALLY DAMAGING WINDS.

* WINDS...SOUTHWEST 25 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 60 MPH.

* TIMING...STRONG GUSTY SOUTHWESTERLY WINDS WILL DEVELOP AROUND
  DAYBREAK ON CHRISTMAS MORNING AND CONTINUE THROUGH THE
  DAYLIGHT HOURS. WINDS WILL TAPER OFF TOWARD EVENING.

* IMPACTS...POWER OUTAGES MAY OCCUR AS WINDS OF THIS MAGNITUDE
  WILL HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO KNOCK DOWN TREES AND POWER LINES.
  TRAVEL WILL ALSO BE MADE DIFFICULT FOR HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A HIGH WIND WARNING MEANS A HAZARDOUS HIGH WIND EVENT IS EXPECTED
OR OCCURRING. SUSTAINED WIND SPEEDS OF AT LEAST 40 MPH OR GUSTS
OF 58 MPH OR MORE CAN LEAD TO PROPERTY DAMAGE.

  EASTERN CLINTON AND EASTERN ESSEX COUNTIES IN NEW YORK.

* HAZARDS...STRONG AND GUSTY WINDS.

* WINDS...SOUTHWEST 20 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 50 MPH.

* TIMING...STRONG GUSTY SOUTHWESTERLY WINDS WILL DEVELOP DURING
  CHRISTMAS MORNING AND CONTINUE THROUGH THE DAYLIGHT HOURS.
  WINDS WILL TAPER OFF TOWARD EVENING.

* IMPACTS...ISOLATED POWER OUTAGES MAY OCCUR ACROSS THE AREA DUE
  TO DAMAGE TO TREE LIMBS AND POWER LINES. TRAVEL WILL ALSO BE
  MADE DIFFICULT FOR HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES.
