SUBJECT:  Major Flood Stage Set For Mendenhall Lake in Juneau
          /MNDA2/.

Effective on September 29th 2016...the National Weather Service
in Juneau will add a major flood stage for the Mendenhall Lake
gage.

If the lake water level reaches major flood stage /14.0 feet/
widespread flooding would affect many homes along the Mendenhall
River above and below back loop bridge.

The National Weather Service definitions for flood terms are
available on the web at: HTTP://WEATHER.GOV/APRFC/TERMINOLOGY

Values in the following table are newly established values.
