Subject: Changes in Flood Categories for Multiple River Forecast
Points along the Clear Fork of the Brazos River

Effective at 1200 Coordinated Universal Time on Monday, November
27, 2017, the National Weather Service will change the flood
category stages for multiple river forecast points along the Clear

Roby, Hawley and Nugent. These changes are part of a coordinated
effort with local emergency managers.

Because of these changes, starting on Monday, November 27, 2017,

reference the new category levels. These changes are part of a
recent re-evaluation of the flood plain with local emergency

 1. New flood stage is 18 feet above gage zero. The previous flood
stage was 22 feet above gage zero.
