ARKANSAS...

NORTHWESTERLY WINDS GUSTING 20 TO 35 MPH WILL PREVAIL TODAY
ALONG WITH AFTERNOON HUMIDITIES OF 20 TO 35 PERCENT. THESE
CONDITIONS...ALONG WITH DRY GRASSES...WILL CONTRIBUTE TO
AGGRESSIVE FIRE SPREAD POTENTIAL FOR ANY WILDFIRE. WINDS ARE
EXPECTED TO QUICKLY DIMINISH AFTER SUNSET.

BURN BANS ARE IN EFFECT FOR CARROLL...MADISON...AND FRANKLIN COUNTIES
IN NORTHWEST ARKANSAS. ALSO A FIRE WEATHER WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR TODAY
ACROSS WEST CENTRAL ARKANSAS...AND LATER FORECASTS SHOULD BE
MONITORED FOR ANY CHANGES TO THE AFTERNOON FIRE WEATHER
CONDITIONS.

OUTDOOR BURNING IS NOT RECOMMENDED. REPORT SMOKE OR FIRE TO YOUR
LOCAL FIRE DEPARTMENT.
