DAILY RIVER AND LAKE SUMMARY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE COLUMBIA SC
936 AM EST MON DEC 5 2016

..All River Forecast Points were below Flood Stage this Morning...

Periods of widespread rainfall will redevelop Monday evening across the
forecast area as a wave of low pressure lifts out of Texas and Louisiana
along a frontal boundary stalled to the south. 24-hr amounts of around
one inch have fallen from the Midlands up into the Upstate and Pee Dee.
Another 1 to 3 inches is expected in the next 36 hours with the heavier
precipitation shifting more south into the CSRA, Midlands and Coastal
Plain. Expect rises in main stem rivers, but all are expected to stay
well below flood stage especially with lower reservoir levels and
extended drought conditions. There may be a slight risk of brief
localized urban and small stream flooding during bursts of heavier
shower activity in some areas towards Tuesday morning.
