River levels will remain high but below flood stage:

For the Big Piney below Fort Leonard Wood East Gate.  Flood stage is
8.0 feet. The latest stage was 6.4 feet at 9 AM Sunday. The river will
fall to near 5.6 feet by 1 PM Sunday.

For the Osage River near Schell City.  Flood stage is 30.0 feet. The
latest stage was 27.5 feet at 10 AM Sunday. The river may rise to
near 29.2 feet by 7 AM Monday.

For the Spring River above Baxter Springs.  Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
The latest stage was 12.0 feet at 9 AM Sunday. The river will slowly fall
through today.

For the Spring River at Carthage.  Flood stage is 10.0 feet. The
latest stage was 9.2 feet at 10 AM Sunday. The river will fall to near
8.4 feet by 1 PM Sunday.

Do not drive through flowing water. Nearly half of all flood
fatalities are vehicle related. As little as 6 inches of water may
cause you to lose control of your vehicle. Two feet of water will
carry most vehicles away.
