ARCTIC HIGH PRESSURE OVER SOUTHERN CANADA AND THE NORTHERN
PLAINS STATES WAS BRINGING COLD AIR INTO THE EASTERN HALF OF THE
REGION.

FOR THE REST OF TONIGHT LIGHT SNOW WILL CONTINUE TO PUSH
SOUTHEASTWARD FROM NORTHEASTERN MONTANA THROUGH SOUTHERN SOUTH
DAKOTA. WARMER AIR MOVING INTO WESTERN PORTIONS OF THE REGION WILL
BRING CHANCES OF A WINTRY MIX OF RAIN AND SNOW OVERNIGHT AND INTO
SATURDAY.

CHANCES OF SNOW WILL BE GREATER OVER EASTERN PORTIONS OF THE
NORTHERN PLAINS ON SATURDAY. OVERNIGHT LOWS TONIGHT WILL RANGE FROM
25 BELOW IN NORTHERN MINNESOTA TO THE UPPER 20S IN SOUTHWESTERN
SOUTH DAKOTA. HIGHS SATURDAY FROM THE LOWER 50S IN SOUTHWESTERN
SOUTH DAKOTA TO THE SINGLE DIGITS ABOVE ZERO IN NORTHERN MINNESOTA.
