UNDER A LAYER OF HIGH CLOUDINESS...TEMPERATURES HAVE WARMED INTO THE
LOWER AND MIDDLE 30S ACROSS FAR SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS AND THE
MISSOURI OZARKS. WINDS WERE GENERALLY SOUTHEASTERLY AT 5 TO 15
MILES PER HOUR.

HIGHER LEVEL CLOUDS ARE EXPECTED TO REMAIN OVER THE AREA
TODAY...BUT SOME SUNSHINE IS EXPECTED AS THIS LAYER OF CLOUDS
SHOULD BE RATHER THIN...AT LEAST THROUGH THE EARLY AFTERNOON. LOW
LEVEL CLOUDS WILL THEN INCREASE LATER TODAY.
ADDITIONALLY...POCKETS OF DRIZZLE ARE POSSIBLE LATER THIS
AFTERNOON THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT. HIGH TEMPERATURES TODAY SHOULD
RANGE FROM THE MIDDLE 30S FURTHER NORTH TO AROUND 40 CLOSER TO THE
ARKANSAS AND OKLAHOMA BORDERS. WINDS SHOULD SHIFT TO A MORE
SOUTHERLY DIRECTION AS HIGH PRESSURE CONTINUES TO DEPART.

WARMER CONDITIONS WILL OCCUR ON TUESDAY AS HIGHS TOP OUT IN THE
50S. ADDITIONALLY...SCATTERED SHOWERS AND PERHAPS A CLAP OF THUNDER
OR TWO ARE POSSIBLE. A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL SWEEP THROUGH THE
REGION LATER TUESDAY AND BRING A SHARP DROP IN TEMPERATURES FOR
MID WEEK. MORE WINTRY WEATHER WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE ON WEDNESDAY.
