...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT NORTHERN LEE...SOUTH CENTRAL
CHESTERFIELD AND EAST CENTRAL KERSHAW COUNTIES...

At 357 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Bethune
or 9 miles west of Hartsville, moving east at 25 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail are possible with this
storm. Locally heavy rainfall with amounts around 1 inch are likely.

Locations impacted include...
Bishopville, Mcbee, Patrick and Bethune.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
