...PATCHY DENSE FOG IN CENTRAL AND EAST-CENTRAL WISCONSIN...

LINGERING MOISTURE FROM YESTERDAYS RAIN COMBINED WITH LIGHT WINDS
WAS ALLOWING FOG TO FORM ACROSS CENTRAL AND EAST-CENTRAL WISCONSIN
EARLY THIS MORNING. THE FOG WAS REDUCING THE VISIBILITY TO BELOW
1/4 MILE IN A FEW PLACES. THE PATCHY DENSE FOG WILL POSE A HAZARD
TO EARLY MORNING MOTORISTS.

IF YOU ARE TRAVELING EARLY THIS MORNING...BE PREPARED FOR THE
POSSIBILITY OF ENCOUNTERING LOCALIZED DENSE FOG BANKS...
ESPECIALLY IN LOW AREAS NEAR STREAMS AND RIVERS. WHEN ENCOUNTERING
DENSE FOG...SLOW YOUR VEHICLE TO THE POINT WHERE YOU WILL BE ABLE
TO SAFELY STOP IF YOU ENCOUNTER AN OBJECT OR ANIMAL ON THE
ROADWAY. ALWAYS USE LOW-BEAM HEADLIGHTS.

THE FOG WILL PERSIST THROUGH DAYBREAK...AND SHOULD DISSIPATE BY
