...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT ST. BERNARD...SOUTH CENTRAL
ORLEANS AND NORTHWESTERN PLAQUEMINES PARISHES...

At 235 PM CDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Meraux, or near
Chalmette, moving east at 45 mph.

Wind gusts up to 50 mph are possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
New Orleans, Chalmette, Belle Chasse, Violet, Meraux and Poydras.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
