...HEAVY SNOW EVENT CONTINUES FOR NORTHERN AND CENTRAL NEW MEXICO
THROUGH SATURDAY...

.A SLOW MOVING PACIFIC STORM SYSTEM WITH MOIST SUBTROPICAL AIR
AHEAD OF IT WILL CONTINUE TO IMPACT NORTHERN AND CENTRAL NEW
MEXICO THROUGH THE REST OF TODAY INTO SATURDAY. SIGNIFICANT SNOW
AMOUNTS WILL IMPACT PORTIONS OF THE NORTHERN MOUNTAINS AND HIGHER
ELEVATIONS OF THE SOUTHWEST AND CENTRAL MOUNTAINS. MORE THAN A
FOOT OF SNOW WILL OCCUR ABOVE 9000 FEET. A MIX OF RAIN AND SNOW
WILL CONTINUE TO COMPLICATE MATTERS ACROSS THE LOWER ELEVATIONS AS
A WARMER AIRMASS PUSHES NORTHWARD ACROSS THE FORECAST AREA.
PRECIPITATION IMPACTS WILL LOWER SATURDAY NIGHT INTO SUNDAY.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...ADDITIONAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS BETWEEN 1 TO
  3 INCHES IS EXPECTED THROUGH SATURDAY. STORM TOTALS SHOULD RANGE
  BETWEEN 4 TO 7 INCHES.

* TIMING...SNOW...OCCASIONALLY MIXED WITH RAIN AT THE LOWEST
  ELEVATIONS...WILL CONTINUE THROUGH SATURDAY.
