...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR THE SAME AREA FROM 6 AM THIS
MORNING THROUGH 6 PM THIS EVENING...

...WIND CHILL ADVISORY IN EFFECT FOR MUCH OF WESTERN NORTH DAKOTA
THROUGH THIS MORNING...

.STRONG NORTHWEST WINDS WILL CONTINUE ACROSS MUCH OF CENTRAL NORTH
DAKOTA THROUGH THE DAY TODAY. NEAR ZERO VISIBILITIES ARE POSSIBLE
THROUGH THE PRE-DAWN HOURS. DURING THE DAYTIME HOURS VISIBILITIES
ARE EXPECTED TO IMPROVE...BUT OCCASIONAL DROPS IN VISIBILITY TO A
HALF MILE CAN BE EXPECTED...ESPECIALLY OVER OPEN COUNTRY.

A BLIZZARD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM THIS MORNING FOR
PORTIONS OF CENTRAL NORTH DAKOTA. THIS INCLUDES MINOT...RUGBY AND
ROLLA...SOUTH THROUGH HARVEY...CARRINGTON AND JAMESTOWN...TO
ASHLEY AND ELLENDALE. A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY WILL REPLACE THE
BLIZZARD WARNING AT 6 AM AND CONTINUE THROUGH THE DAY TODAY.

WEATHER ADVISORY FOR BLOWING SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM
CST THIS EVENING.

* TIMING...THROUGH 6 PM THIS EVENING.

* WINDS/VISIBILITY...GUSTS TO 45 MPH WITH NEAR ZERO VISIBILITIES
  IN BLOWING SNOW DURING THE PRE-DAWN HOURS. VISIBILITIES TO A
  HALF MILE IN BLOWING SNOW CAN BE EXPECTED DURING THE DAY.
  VISIBILITIES WILL BE WORST IN OPEN AREAS.

* IMPACTS...DANGEROUS...IF NOT IMPOSSIBLE TRAVEL.

* WIND CHILLS...TO 20 BELOW ZERO.

A BLIZZARD WARNING MEANS SEVERE WINTER WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE
EXPECTED OR OCCURRING. FALLING AND BLOWING SNOW WITH STRONG WINDS
AND POOR VISIBILITIES ARE LIKELY. THIS WILL LEAD TO WHITEOUT
CONDITIONS...MAKING TRAVEL EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. DO NOT TRAVEL. IF
YOU MUST TRAVEL...HAVE A WINTER SURVIVAL KIT WITH YOU. IF YOU GET

A WIND CHILL ADVISORY MEANS THAT VERY COLD AIR AND STRONG WINDS
WILL COMBINE TO GENERATE LOW WIND CHILLS. THIS WILL RESULT IN
FROST BITE AND LEAD TO HYPOTHERMIA IF PRECAUTIONS ARE NOT TAKEN.
