THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN STATE COLLEGE HAS ISSUED A LAKE
EFFECT SNOW WARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM NOON THURSDAY TO
NOON EST SATURDAY. THE LAKE EFFECT SNOW WATCH IS NO LONGER IN
EFFECT.

* LOCATIONS...WARREN COUNTY.

* HAZARD TYPES...HEAVY SNOW.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...TWO DAY SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF A FOOT OR
  MORE ACROSS THE NORTHWESTERN HALF OF WARREN COUNTY AND LESSER
  AMOUNTS TO THE SOUTHEAST.

* TIMING...THE HEAVIEST SNOW IS EXPECTED TO FALL THURSDAY NIGHT
  THROUGH FRIDAY NIGHT.

* IMPACTS...SNOW COVERED AND SLIPPERY ROADS. THE HEAVY SNOW COULD
  MAKE ROADS IMPASSABLE AND MAY PRODUCE POWER OUTAGES DUE TO THE
  WEIGHT OF THE SNOW ON TREE LIMBS AND POWER LINES. THE INTENSITY
  OF THE SNOW INSIDE LAKE EFFECT SNOW BANDS CAN REDUCE VISIBILITY
  TO NEAR ZERO IN A MATTER OF MINUTES. THE WIND WILL ALSO LEAD TO
  BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW.

* WINDS...WEST 10 TO 15 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 20 MPH.
