...WINTER STORM WITH LAKE EFFECT SNOW SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH
SUNDAY NIGHT...

.SNOW WILL OVERSPREAD SOUTHERN WISCONSIN SATURDAY NIGHT AND
PERSIST THROUGH SUNDAY AS LOW PRESSURE MOVES FROM THE CENTRAL
GREAT PLAINS TO THE OHIO RIVER VALLEY. LAKE EFFECT SNOW WILL
COMBINE WITH THE SNOW FROM THE LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM TO PRODUCE
HIGHER SNOWFALL TOTALS OVER FAR SOUTHEAST WISCONSIN. IN
ADDITION...CONSIDERABLE BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW IS EXPECTED
OVER THIS AREA AS ONSHORE WINDS FROM LAKE MICHIGAN WILL GUST TO
OVER 30 MPH AT TIMES.

FOR INLAND LOCATIONS INCLUDING SOUTH CENTRAL WISCONSIN...SEVERAL
INCHES OF SNOW IS EXPECTED WITH BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW AS
WELL. THIS WILL BE A RATHER LONG EVENT...WITH SNOW FALLING FOR
ABOUT 24 STRAIGHT HOURS.
