  Las Animas Counties.

* CAUSE AND TIMING...An intense storm over southeast Colorado

  for the mountains and 2 to 4 inches for the lower elevations
  along the I-25 corridor.

* WIND...North 20 to 40 gusting to 60 mph.

...BLIZZARD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON MDT TODAY...

  Black Forest.

* CAUSE AND TIMING...An intense storm over southeast Colorado
  this morning will move slowly into Kansas this afternoon.

* SNOW ACCUMULATION...total accumulations of 8 to 10 inches with
  deeper drifts.

* WIND...North 35 to 45 gusting to 65 mph resulting in heavy
  blowing and drifting snow and near zero visibilities.

  and drifting snow and whiteout countdowns. Snow covered roads
  and near zero visibilities will make travel difficult to
  impossible. Strong winds and heavy, blowing snow may result in
  power outages and tree damage.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Blizzard Warning means severe winter weather conditions are
expected. Falling and blowing snow with strong winds and poor

travel, have a winter survival kit with you. If you get stranded,
stay with your vehicle.
