...LOW ELEVATION SNOW POSSIBLE THIS MORNING SHASTA COUNTY
MOUNTAINS...
...RISING SNOW LEVELS OVER THE SIERRA...

.COLD TRAPPED AIR IN THE SHASTA COUNTY MOUNTAINS IS KEEPING SNOW
LEVELS ON THE LOW SIDE THERE THIS MORNING. THIS COLDER AIR IS
EXPECTED TO MIX OUT LATER THIS MORNING ALLOWING SNOW LEVELS TO
RISE ABOVE PASS LEVELS. SNOW LEVELS OVER THE SIERRA HAVE CONTINUED
TO RISE ABOVE 5000 FEET AND ARE EXPECTED TO BE ABOVE THE MAJOR
SIERRA PASS LEVELS BY LATER THIS MORNING. UNTIL RAIN AND WARMER
TEMPERATURES CLEAR THE ROADWAYS LATER THIS MORNING, TRAVEL WILL
CONTINUE TO BE IMPACTED IN THESE AREAS.
