THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR SOUTHWESTERN CALIFORNIA.

.DAY ONE... TODAY AND TONIGHT

GUSTY NORTHWEST WINDS WILL INCREASE ACROSS THE SANTA BARBARA COUNTY
MOUNTAINS AND ADJACENT SOUTH COAST OF SANTA BARBARA. STRONGEST GUSTS
WILL BE BETWEEN 35 AND 45 MPH. STRONGEST IN THE MOUNTAINS. A GALE
WARNING WILL CONTINUE THROUGH LATE TONIGHT ACROSS THE OUTER WATERS.
GUSTS BETWEEN 35 AND 40 KNOTS ARE LIKELY. THERE WILL CONTINUE TO BE
A HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK THROUGH LATE TONIGHT AS WELL.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN... SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

A WINTER STORM WILL MOVE INTO THE AREA LATER THIS EVENING AND
PERSIST THROUGH AT LEAST MONDAY. SNOW LEVELS ARE EXPECTED TO LOWER
TO AROUND 4000 TO 5000 FT BY SATURDAY AFTERNOON. THEN LOWER TO
BETWEEN 3500 AND 4000 FT ON SUNDAY. THERE COULD BE IMPACTS ON THE
INTERSTATE 5 CORRIDOR...AND POSSIBLY HIGHWAY 14 ON SUNDAY.
