PATCHY DENSE FOG WITH VISIBILITIES OF ONE QUARTER MILE OR LESS WILL
AFFECT SOME COASTAL AREAS TONIGHT. HOT AND DRY CONDITIONS WILL BRING
HEAT ILLNESS CONCERNS FOR SENSITIVE POPULATIONS...AS WELL AS
ELEVATED FIRE DANGER.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN... SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

PATCHY DENSE FOG WITH VISIBILITIES OF ONE QUARTER MILE OR LESS WILL
AFFECT SOME COASTAL AREAS EACH NIGHT THROUGH MORNING THROUGH AT
LEAST THE WEEKEND. HOT CONDITIONS WILL BRING HEAT ILLNESS CONCERNS
FOR SENSITIVE POPULATIONS THROUGH TUESDAY...AS WELL AS ELEVATED FIRE
DANGER. SUNDAY AND MONDAY SHOULD BE THE MOST CRITICAL FOR HEAT AS
SOME MOISTURE WILL ADD TO THE HEAT INDEX VALUES...ESPECIALLY FOR THE
SAN GABRIEL AND SAN FERNANDO VALLEYS.

ON WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY...MOISTURE FROM TROPICAL SYSTEM ODILE WILL
BEGIN TO STREAM ACROSS THE AREA...BRINGING THE THREAT OF SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS TO THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY MOUNTAINS AND THE ANTELOPE
VALLEY. ADDITIONALLY...LARGE SWELLS FROM ODILE MAY GENERATE HIGH
SURF AND DANGEROUS RIP CURRENTS ALONG THE LOCAL BEACHES...BEGINNING
