.DAY ONE... TODAY AND TONIGHT

SOUTHERLY SWELL FROM FORMER TROPICAL STORM LOWELL WILL CONTINUE TO
BRING HIGH SURF AND DANGEROUS RIP CURRENTS TO SOUTH FACING BEACHES
OF LOS ANGELES AND VENTURA COUNTIES THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON. HIGH
SURF ADVISORY WILL REMAIN IN EFFECT FOR SURF 5 TO 7 FEET WITH MAX
SETS TO 10 FEET.

FACING BEACHES OF LOS ANGELES...VENTURA...AND SOUTHEAST SANTA BARBARA
COUNTIES FROM TUESDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH FRIDAY. DURING THE PEAK OF
THE EVENT...DAMAGING SURF OF 10 TO 15 FEET WILL BE POSSIBLE...ALONG
WITH THE POTENTIAL FOR STRUCTURE DAMAGE AND MAJOR BEACH EROSION.
OTHER POTENTIAL IMPACTS WITH THIS EVENT INCLUDE MINOR COASTAL
FLOODING DURING TIMES OF HIGH TIDE...AS WELL AS VERY STRONG RIP
