.DISCUSSION...
Today will feature warm and dry conditions with highs mainly in the
low 60s as a ridge of high pressure shifts east into Minnesota this
afternoon. The exiting ridge of high pressure will result in
increasing winds out of the south this afternoon, with gusts
nearing 20 to 25 mph. Temperatures in the mid 60s are around 10
degrees above normal for this time of year.

Winds will remain gusty through the evening hours, and then diminish
overnight as an area of low pressure nears from the west. Much
warmer air will move in Saturday, along with shifting winds from out
of the south, to out of the west, and eventually out of the west
late in the day.
